Sunstone Electric LLC is proudly Alaska Native owned and operated! We are licensed, insured, and bonded to conduct any electrical installation in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, on the road system, or in rural Alaska.

We are a local family-owned and operated small business based out of Palmer. Over the past few decades, our staff have dedicated their careers to improving access to reliable essential services in communities throughout the state. From Klawock to Little Diomede, Fort Yukon to Akutan, there are few populated areas in the state that we have not worked in.

Most of our staff are lifelong Alaskans and are experts in our trade. We are proud to serve Alaska and invest in the long term wellbeing of our communities.

Meet The Team

Kolt Garvey

Owner / Electrical Administrator / Lead Electrician

Kolt hails from Southeast Alaska and has been involved in commercial fishing and construction since before he could grow his beard. Over the past ten years, he has worked in more than 200 communities throughout Alaska.

Amanda Garvey

Owner / Operations Manager

When Amanda isn't running the business side of the operation, she can usually be found out in the rural communities of Alaska providing development assistance on one project or another. Energy efficiency, renewable energy installations, facility assessments, and general shenaniganry are her expertise.

Levi Lanning

Fleet Manager

An ASE Master Tech and owner of Sourdough Speed and Trim, Levi handles all equipment and fleet functions for Sunstone Electric.

Sourdough Speed and Trim independently accepts mechanical and upholstery work by appointment only.
