Do you guys do work in rural communities?
Yes! If you are contacting us from an area outside of Anchorage or the Mat-Su Valley, please give us a call or leave us a message through the "Contact Us" form. We will reach back out to you to coordinate more details.
Does Sunstone Electric subcontract on projects?
Yes. If you have a subcontract project in mind, please submit a Contact Us inquiry or e-mail the Operations department directly at operations@sunstoneelectric.com.
When do you have availability?
Personnel availability fluctuates.
Do you charge a weekend / after hours fee?
We charge an after hours fee outside of regular business hours ($20/hr above normal hourly rate).
Is Sunstone Electric hiring?
We are not currently hiring, but we expect to open up more positions in Spring / Summer of 2024.
What if I work during your business hours?
We can assess your project outside of normal business hours, and work with you to schedule the work during our business hours to save you the additional overtime labor costs.
What are your normal business hours?
8AM - 5PM, Monday through Fridays.
Do you have an emergency service?
We offer emergency services on the weekends, when staff is available. We do not charge an emergency fee. All emergency callouts outside of regular business hours are at the same rate as the after hours fee.
Is my job too small for you / big for you?
We offer an extremely wide range of services. We have staff with experience ranging from custom residential, multi-unit commercial, or large industrial projects depending on the need.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes, and thanks for asking. It's always good practice to ask every single contractor you hire. All of our electricians carry a current certificate of fitness from the State of Alaska. Sunstone Electric has all state and municipal licenses required to work anywhere in the State of Alaska.

At this time, we are not looking for extra assistance with estimation or bidding.
